The Cuckoo

Here's a little tribute to swedish band Terra Tenebrosa!

Their music is a weird and bewitching mixture of post-hardcore and black metal, wrapped in a dark ambient blanket. Actually, the Cuckoo, portrayed by the lead singer (which we don't know the real name), is the main protagonist of the story told in the albums "The Tunnels" and "The Purging".

The audio and visual imagery that the band perpetually use make them truly fascinating, and even avant-gardist in this kind of music...

(Air) Bass Girl

These days I'm listening A LOT to Warpaint's last album... and I guess I was inspired by their bass player Jenny Lee Lindberg, to design this one! Actually the bass in itself is a recycling of this old drawing from october 2011.
